Hi again. I've just had a quick look and if you google dss properties poole it will give you a list of agencies etc advertising rooms and properties in your area that accept housing benefit. I hope this helps and let us know if you manage to find a place. Hopefully a really nice one! The mencap helpline is open again on monday 9-3 the number 0808 808 1111 they may have other suggestions to help you. Good luck.

Thank you very much

Social Worker or mental health team at hospital emergency usually help and could suggest someone to help you look for accommodation or Citizen Advice Bureau or London Borough Council

Thank you

It is worth going to Council as they can get you a house or something if homeless - a few cases - genuine cases, where they can prove things they have helped in

Hello amie77777

I am sorry that you are struggling to find accommodation. I agree with the suggestions people have given you already.

3 good places to start are:

* your local council.

* Citizen's advice. Find your nearest branch by popping your postcode in the Find your local Citizens Advice search.

* Mencap's helpline has trained advisers who will be able to help. It is free. Call them on 0808 808 1111

Best wishes
