Hi - try advertising at local colleges/Uni's running Health & Social Care courses, I've often recommended this to others asking who've had success

Our son has LD too and its tricky.

Try CURAM website.

info@curamcare.com

PA's put their profiles up so you can check their experience

Good luck

Hello Horsefriend

Where I live there is local website for this sort of thing. It isn't focused just on LD, but there seem to be lots of LD adverts on there. I did find a few others (below) but it does depend where you live, and exactly what you need.

possabilitypeople.org.uk/ho...

disabilitynorth.org.uk/how-...

find-a-pa.co.uk/dasl/lambet...

I don't know if these websites are any good, but they might be a starting point.

Another thought - do you know anyone else in a similar situation. Do they have a PA they could recommend?

Also, would you be willing to train someone up? There may be some excellent PA's that just haven't had the opportunity to work with someone with an LD.

I hope you find someone you are both happy with.

Best wishes

Sarah
