I had phone call out off blue from pip assessor. Asking me questions like is my daughter able to wash her face or eat by herself or is she able to wash herself if I encourage her to do it . I was very specific about what she can do and what she can’t in the application .she said they won’t ask me to come to do f2f assessment as she do it with me now as I’m the appointee. I tried to answer the questions as I could but I’m worried now that I might messed up, as I wasn’t even prepared for it I was out in town. Can they call you just like that and do assessment Over the phone?

Hi Kamijak. Yes, my son's assessment was very much like this. Everything then went through with no problems, so I hope your experience will be similar.

I too received an unexpected phone call which is unnerving, but everything was ok. I think they do this if your not having a ftf assessment but I wasn't made aware this would happen. Hope all goes well for you

This does sound a bit stressful. I hate phone calls that I am not ready for. You sound like you did a great job. I think it is probably a good sign as it means they don't feel that they need to talk to you in person. Best of luck.
