Where should I go for assessment, so I can be safeguarded and be protected

Hi

I have a number of disabilities, Autism, Dyslexia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, just to name a few

I have been told in the past that I should be registered as being severely mentally impaired and I have been told that I am unfit to do exams for two years, due to health grounds and now social services want to remove my money each month so they can monitor the spending and stop me from allowing carers from getting there hands on it, that has happened in the past by them getting me to take out a motorability car in my name for them to treat it as there own car

So my question is where can I go to get fully tested so then I should be fully protected by the law

I have gone on about safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and duty of care as I strongly feel that this applies to me, but I am getting totally being exploited by people that should be supporting and protecting me, but the opersite is happening to me

Please help and advice me where to go for assistance, as I am no longer coping

Hello Dr_Charra.

Thank you for posting and sharing how you are feeling. It sounds as if there are lots of things going on for you at the moment. I think would be a great idea if you could talk through everything with one of the advisors on our helpline. Give them a call on 0808 808 1111. It is free and confidential.

If you feel you are not coping, and need to talk to someone urgently, the Samaritans are always there to listen. You can call them at anytime on 116 123 samaritans.org/

Please let us know how you get on.

Hello. Do you have an advocate to help make sure people are listenng to you? It might be worth looking into.
