PET scan results

So hopefully the picture I will attach will actually attach lol.. but basically we have been in a limbo. Friday we were supposed to get results. The Onco team did.. but they compared it to a scan in May of 2019. (Not his most recent from December, huge time difference). So we waited until today to have another one re-written with the correct comparison. I got the results, and to my surprise, the scan impression and descriptions did not completely depict the whole picture. These people get paid A LOT of money to read these images PROPERLY. And I don’t feel like this gentleman did his job correctly. Had I not ALREADY seen the imaging (I get discs made of every scan he gets and I pop them into the computer when I get home so I don’t have to wait and I can fix my scanxiety) then I would have been devastated. Which isn’t fair. Long story short, I called bullshit. And the person who wrote the report, attached an addendum - which then gave me exactly what I felt was right diagnoses wise, and what I actually knew was right. Needless to say; we are happy campers. We knew he felt this way for a reason. Things are getting better and we will waste no time in trying to help his body keep fighting ❤️
