Hi everyone, I hope you are all able to at least keep your head above water. My doctor just confirmed that I do indeed have ME. It was stressful having to diagnose myself but I am glad that I wasn't imaging things. I have learnt a lot from this site especially about pacing myself. I wanted to find out though. Is there anyone who has ME without any other medical condition as everyone I have met including myself has a medical condition. I have sickle cell making having ME very upsetting because having sickle cell is more than enough. I use zoplicone to sleep which seems to help especially when I feel an attack coming on. So most of the time I have moderate symptoms. It's important to contact adult social services to get someone to help at home because that is what I had to do. My carer does help a lot and reduces the stress. I also have a stair lift to conserve my energy. Sad to be using that at age 38😔but hey what can I do. I pray a cure 🏝 found soon. Good luck everyone. xoxo

Hello Jo19,
I think it'd be hard to find anyone with M.E who doesn't have other health conditions on top because M.E doesn't discriminate (i.e it can strike anyone, at any age).
I myself have other physical health problems including; migraines, joint pain, eczema, allergies and intolerances and IBS-type symptoms (though these are all widely accepted as being part and parcel of having M.E).
