Loosen those shoulders, take in deep breaths; this weekend, our cheers and Pom Pom shaking need to be heard and felt as far away as Sweden!!
More about that in a moment, but our sole heroine this week is:
πShake-and-run our literary pedagog, who is walking section 8 of the Cotswold Way (Kings Stanley to Dursley) on Sunday, a distance of 7.2 miles (11.6k). This is an organised walk and part of a plan to walk the whole 102 miles distance by Christmas. Sounds like cross training at its best; βsteep but with spectular 360 degree viewsβ. Enjoy your day Shakes and remember β¦watch where you put your feet ππ.

Then we have:
π RunBrianRun who is helping us to avoid post Olympic withdrawal symptoms by running in up to four races in the World Masters Championships in Sloffskogsvallen Stadium in Gothenburg. His events are:
17 August- 4x100m relay
18 August- 200m heats
19 August-200m semis & final
He only missed qualifying for the 100m final by .03 of a second! The blink of an eye! Being the 9th fastest M60 (not the motorway!!) sprinter in the world and fastest M60 1961 born sprinter in the world is just amazing!! Go go go Brian!! πποΈ
Whilst that is more than enough excitement for me for the weekend, if we have missed anyone out let us know and we will whip up a storm of support for you!!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone, whatever you are doing. If you are running β¦..lots of hydration β¦β¦. (It will probably pour down now I have said that!).
From you team:
