Happy Friday everyone! Please get those pom-poms prepped and ready to rumble to support our little group of runners this Sunday. We do hope that festive kit will be on show along with a bit of jingle and frosting to get us in the mood 🎄🎅❄️🥳
We have a bit of a food theme going on with our races this weekend!
🌟You’d think that a week after a HM some runners might want a bit of a rest. But no, our Ever-Ready-Trio of TailChaser , Katnap and Shake-and-run have no time to rest as they will be running a 10K race as part of the Tempo Winter Series, AKA The Sausage Runs 🌭This will be the third run of a total of five and promises yet more delicious sausages at the end for our intrepid runners 😋
We can’t wait to read all your race reports and see your fab photos. Photos of the sausages are optional 😂
🌟 Moving away from sausages to soup (shouldn’t that be the other way around? 🙂) we have our very own Isle of Wight runner, aliboo70 , taking on The Soup Run. This is a six mile multi-terrain “social” run with goodies of a souvenir, soup and a roll at the end. There will also be entry into a prize draw! That sounds like so much fun Ali. Good luck for the draw 🍀and we await your usual fab race report afterwards. And doesn’t that reference to “social” conjure up images of lots of happy, laughing runners 😊

Whoop whoop Irishprincess , it sounds like running for food is the name of the game this weekend. Have fun TailChaser , Katnap , Shake-and-run in Stratford upon Avon and aliboo70 across the water on the Isle of Wight.
Shake-and-run and I are also still working on our 12 Runs of Christmas with festive challenges, and I have now ticked off 4 runs and 2 walks. The distances have not been great, with Christmas preparations in flow, but so far so good.
Well done Dexy, I’ve 6 runs under my belt so far. It is going to be a tight one to cross line, as it is so busy now until Christmas. Keep going Dexy we will get there!!!

I'm not feeling great today, several in our office have come down with covid really hoping it's not that , will have to see how I feel in the morning 🤔😫😪x
Sorry , I'll just be spectating today, work sent me home yesterday just in case, I'll have to save my energy for Tuesdays Christmas Lights run and hope nothing develops further! 🤬xxx
