I’ve been counting down to parkrun 125 - halfway to the next T-shirt - for a few weeks now! Today I finally made it. The best thing ever was that my gorgeous HU love - GTFC - joined me for it on his very first parkrun ever!

125+1 parkruns
👍 😍 Lovely photo of both if you Tasha99, congratulations on completing your 125th +1 parkrun and well done to GTFC on his first. You are such a lovely couple, as far as I know both of you are the first couple to meet and fall in💕here on Healthunlocked, are you thinking of getting married?, that would be wonderful or perhaps just be the best of running friends. 😊 🏃🏾.
Thank you Al! Maybe we’ll meet up with you too one day! Who knows what the future holds. GTFC is a dream 💖
Thanks Tasha99, by the way Tuesday 24th May is my 76th birthday 🎂
Al! Happy birthday! Have a good one! All the best people are born in May 😜
Happy Birthday super Al!!🎂 🎁 🎈 🎉 🕯 🍰
Thank you very much GTFC and Tasha99 on wishing me a happy birthday, my next door neighbour gave me several running clothes, including a rain jerkin for my birthday
Well done Tasha99 and GTFC What a team and great photo of you both 😁👍
What a wonderful day to remember xx Crossing the line together was something I'll always remember 💖 I'm so proud to love you ❤
Congratulations and well done Tasha 🥳💪 Was there a bit of competition on the run……? 🥰
How wonderful is that? you found each other and ran parkrun together
That's wonderful Tasha99 and GTFC , may you share many more such memorable moments! 🥰
All I can say is this relationship looks like it has legs. (Four of them.) 🤣
Best wishes to you both.
🤣 cheers Paul! Hope you’re well 👍🏽
Great now, but last week saw me limping with infected insect bites, and well on my way to cellulitis. Antibiotics have fixed that.
I'm gradually creeping up my longest distance, and can now comfortably do an early morning HM and still be able to function for the rest of the day. My next target is 30km.
You can do it! Then a full I suspect?!
I'll probably nibble away at it gradually. Maybe 30, 33, 36, 39, 42. I'm in no rush.
I know weird stuff starts happening once you get past 30km/3 hours, so I have to be careful. On the other hand, I'm really pleased at how quickly I bounced back after the 26km run.
I have a suspicion I'll end up not being a marathon race runner, but someone who can do the marathon distance without the pressure.
TailChaser and I did the hand-in-hand crossing the finish line at my first parkrun!
Well done to you both 👏👏👏🥇
