Yesterday was the last run of my Garmin HM plan with Jeff.
The local Facebook running group is also running guided C25K runs for new runners, they’re currently on W6R3, so around 4km into the HM I picked up a group of the C25K for their 25 minute run before saying my good byes and carrying on the HM run.
It was then the weather turned and everything got very white, very quickly and my current running shoes where letting me know they’re at the end of their life through lack of grip 😂 new ones are ready to be broken out of their box tomorrow for a short run (C25K W7).
The last 3ish miles where done in around an inch of snow with vehicles throwing regular amounts of slush over me. Was not the nicest run I’ve ever done, and was probably the hardest - don’t think I like running in snow. And to cap it off, Strava recorded 21.09km - three more steps was all I needed!
It was quite confusing incorporating a Couch to 5K run inside a half marathon 😂
