I think I might need one of those weeks where I drop the mileage.. I've done 41K in the last three runs.. just felt my legs heavy today most of the way.. didn't get to the point I usually feel ', comfortable'
But when I finished my time was only 30seconds slower than my 10K PB..
So felt afterwards it was worth it π
But I think my next two runs in the week I should just stick to 5Ks..
I've got my holiday next week in Dunoon,so ideally I want to get a nice comfortable long run there in the beautiful Scottish scenery π
Added my stats in reply π

Enjoy your holiday in Dunoon next week, I am not sure if the present sunny 25C temperatures will continue into next week but the forecast is for dry weather.
That was a good run again for you Caroline, well done, perhaps a few 5Ks will be good for you after those 3/41K runs (altogether) you have run recently.
Sometime in September I intend to run my 4th 10 miles run, I will be running it slowly, at 10 miles I MAY consider if I feel like it to continue to run another 5K to a HM, its a big maybe.
Thanks Alan I've been keeping an eye on the forecast πOoh I'm glad you've decided to do another 10Miles..I had hoped it wouldn't be your last ππββοΈπ
The maybe isn't the 10 miles, I will definitely run that, the big maybe is can I continue to run for another 5K to make it a HM, the previous 3/10 mile runs that I have ran have always ended with the feeling that I could not have run another 1K, let alone 5K, so for the next 10 miles run I will run it at the pace you ran your recent Half Marathon which was around 8min/km, certainly not the 6. 26/km that I ran on Saturday at my 18th parkrun.
Yes thanks IP , I knew this but never felt tired before..but this afternoon I feel washed out,.. my wee dog is getting on in age and has me up 2/3 times a night needing let out.. so it's catching up with me.. So definitely need a bit of a rest.. holiday will really do me good.. feed the soul π
