Privacy protection

Personal privacy and data protection are very much topics of interest to most of us using the internet and smart devices. I don't like the idea of my personal data being collected, stored and possibly sold-on or shared with third parties. I also do all I can to protect my data on the internet, like using the DuckDuckGo extension to my browser.

Therefore, any new guidelines on data protection are of immediate interest. If you wear a smart watch or fitness tracker, you will be interested to read the following guidelines published by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada on smart devices: priv.gc.ca/en/privacy-topic...

I don’t think anyone cares where I’m running. Although Sir Mo or Eliud might be checking out my pace and feeling a bit insecure.

Thanks for the post. Taking care of your personal data is important especially these days as well or and kore of our lives on spent and stored online.

It always pays to be aware. I'm not overly cautious but I do tend to check privacy settings and the like. Thanks for the link.
