These feet took their first step towards running their second Half Marathon today with a really easy relaxed 5K. With the very first training run out the way I am looking forward to the next step on my Half Marathon journey on Wednesday! πŸ˜€

Good to hear from you RC41 and another good run, I am just wondering when and where you will run your second Half Marathon, maybe you just want to run alone as there seems to be no event runs scheduled for this year, I am not sure if the rescheduled London Marathon is still taking place although that's not the run you are wanting to run. πŸƒπŸΎ

Thanks! Yeah, I am planning to run it virtually because the main race and my back-up race both got cancelled. I went for a lovely bike ride this morning, so refreshing! How did your bike ride go on Sunday? :-)

I'll be honest with you I had a slight fall, NOT when I was actually cycling, I was walking but still on my bike through a narrow gate when I think the handlebar hit part of the gate and down I went, I hurt my right arm elbow and top of my shoulder was also a bit sore, nothing was broken and kept on cycling, later as I mentioned on other posts I came to this massive 50-metre long puddle and cycled slowly through it, if I had been walking or running I would have either gone through the water or turned back, the water when I cycled through it was only 1 inch from the downpedel, if the water had been any deeper I would have got very wet feet.

My right elbow and shoulder are slowly recovering, however, I can't put any pressure on them so had to miss my planks, press-ups and kettlebell swing exercises this morning.

Oh no! It is so easily done though, I have to go through a few gates on my route and I've definitely nearly fallen over going through the gate! I have been known to fall off my bike as I brake as my feet touch the floor! Hope you feel better soon! :-)

From now on when you or I go through a gate I recommend we dismount and walk through, I am gradually recovering, my slow run today was nothing to do on what happened on Sunday and I will be on my bike again next Sunday.
