Enjoyed today’s ‘half’, even though it was two miles short of a half due to flooding that transpired to being a suspicious vehicle on part of the route. Well done to organisers on a very discreet handling of the situation so as not to cause alarm.

Blimey. Did someone just park there then? Great photo, you looked chuffed, well done 🙂
..... and I spy another sneaky bit of bling in the background 🏅
Oh yeah, well spotted Miss Marple. Tee hee
All those detective books I’ve read over the years have obviously taught me something ... 🕵️♂️ 😂
Me too! I was tittering on my long run today, and thought I'd name my run "Death Comes at The End" , after that well-known whodunnit.
I'd stupidly reached the 17 to 18 ish mark when I reached the the hill of death, otherwise known - and some might say appropriately - as Hagg Hill. It's a sod of a switchback hill and going UP it is daftness. Doh! My route planning is not great at the best of times but I somehow forgot about this mountain staring me in the fizog at a point in the run when legs are already complaining. Oh well. Thankfully I was wearing my cap so couldn't look up, as the darned thing was practically over my eyes. Just as well in the circs.

oooh how unusual. Still every little 'elps and two miles less seems only fair in the circs. Love the medal and the tee. Well done!

Very well done.

You probably did a bit extra anyway : )

Well done! A number of halfs seem to have been disrupted for various reasons this month. Wonder if that’s normal? I’ve never been interested before 😂

Not sure if I'd be delighted or annoyed - probably both in equal measure 😂. Enjoying it on a day of flooding is the biggest achievement, well done 🙂

Well done! Very happy there was nothing more to the situation than what transpired. Since you got the medal and the tee, I think you should get the forum badge too. Great work!

I remember getting quite stroppy when my first 10k race turned out not to be 10k due to the organisers saying it didn’t matter as it was a fun run.
Your situation was different though; sometimes decisions are taken in everyone’s best interest. At least it wasn’t cancelled like Peterborough.
Well done on your nearly HM. 🏃♂️🎖👏👏

Well done, and I like the shirt!!
Well done and great bling
