I seem to have run a Half Marathon distance! I was planning to wait until next Wednesday but I got up to 19k and felt alright so it seemed daft not to add on the extra bit whilst I had the chance. This weekend and next week look really busy, so I thought that maybe I wouldn't been In good fettle next week either. Sorry Cheekychipmunks for jumping the gun!
I thought that I would have to drop down to 8min/k so I am quite pleased with the time. I have said this before but, I have no ambition to run any further than a HM. Thanks to roseabi for her plan (which I adapted to fit in with my age and fitness!!) and to all VRBs who are so kind and encouraging. The only person I wanted to run this distance for was me; just to prove to myself that it was possible. I like 10ks and 10 miles is ok; I won't be doing to many HMs!!! Where is the chocolate...I have to eat my way through 1730 lost calories!!😊
