So, having re completed C25K after being on the IC, I’m currently concentrating on picking up my pace before increasing my distance to 10k for The Beachy Head 10k in October. Then increasing again and trying for a dog friendly HM, early next year. It won’t be the Half at Beachy Head, though, I ended up doing that one - dogless - in 2018, and got frozen in the process.
Anyway... as I’m working on my pace I signed up to do a mile for @roseabi’s current Speed Challenge.
As luck would have it, I had to alter the route I was going to run, on the fly, this morning after a fox/foxes 🦊 appeared out of the bushes in front of me and my free running dog, and THAT is how I discovered that the gap between two of the finger posts is pretty much exactly 1/4 mile. At which point I just shuttled backwards and forwards between them. Over all, slightly more downhill in one direction than the other. But pretty flat for around here. And easily replicable next time 👍
Official time 10:10min/Mile = 6.21 min/k
