I ran my first half marathon distance yesterday (21.2km, just to be on the safe side). It wasnβt fast but I ran the whole thing. Now I know I can do it without my legs falling off I can start to concentrate on hills to get the speed up a bit. Race in March feels a bit less daunting now.
Hi, here to claim my badge. I haven't been on here for a while but still running! Did my first half marathon back in September and really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be doing another one next year.
Excellent! This thread was feeling sad for a bit, but now we have two new badges π Congratulations on your half! Do tell us all about your next one π
I havenβt been around the HU forums for an age but this year I have completed the Grimsthorpe Gallop trail HM, the Bournemouth HM and earlier this month I completed the Dark Peaks 14 mile course.
Hallo Bob! You very much qualify for a shiny new badge Congratulations on your running! We have lots of people working towards their first half here at the moment, so hearing from people who have not only survived but gone back for more is brilliant
