Seen tthe Oncologist My lump has grown it's now 22mm so the tamoxifen wasn't doing its work. So we are going to try another drug called anastrozole, for two months then back to the Oncologist to see if it worked if it hasn't then look at other options. The tamoxifen has been stopped.

Hello Redier, I hope you don't mind me asking how you're doing now? My husband might not be able to have surgery so interested to see other options

Hello Fdccs. Sorry to hear about your husband, I was offered Tamoxifen at first which stops estrogen which feeds the cancer but it didn't work for me and the lump was still growing, so that was stopped and I'm now on Anastrozole for two months to see if that works. They don't kill the caner so your living with it. I should be seeing the Oncologist this month to see how it's gone, it still growing it could be Surgery or Radiotherapy so he told me. As for me I feel alright I'm off for a 5 day break next week to Bournemouth go by train by myself . I hope this has been some help and your husband gets the treatment he needsRedier (Gordon)
