All things making space. I have to think this is a site for those of us trying to unclutter and make life simple by cleaning out and cleaning up. I bought a new dresser with 8 drawers. My old dresser will serve as a night table and house my pills, tubes, jars and other things I'm sure I can't live without. I'm trying to change my bedroom into a minimalist style. That way, I can dust and not have to move stuff to do it. Here's my favorite change. My cleaning woman is here and cleaning and I love it. I hope I put the right stuff in this category. It's a happy day here.

Well, the cleaning woman didn't work out. To be a cleaning woman, you have to know how to clean. I learned to clean in the Navy. I'm doing it myself again.

Well, MsGelfling, please excuse my smiling, but I've also been there, done that. It's so hard to watch someone else cleaning to what is less than your own standards. A question, I guess, of which thing stresses you out the most. Dropped standards or trying to make more time for yourself.

In my own case, like yours, it turned out to be less stressful to just get on with it myself!

But I hope that the rest of your minimizing to make life easier and simpler has worked out better for you.
