My husband has had dementia for almost four years, he sleeps as soon as his head hits the pillow, also losing energy to walk etc. Should,I be worried?

Sleepy
I have Dementia too, it could be his medications but I fall to sleep almost instantly. I wouldn't worry to much and mention it to your GP or go to Alzimers U.K. And have a chat with them, do you have a crisis team for help day or night.
PM me if you want
Thank you, see GP very infrequently and what is a crisis team.
Where I am the crisis teams are there to support the person who is mentally ill, i.e. People with Dementia who can't cope.
Either, total distress possibly suicidal and that isn't often but seen as an escape. It isn't easy for sufferers, plus it isn't ease for carers as they are living with it to and there isn't a lot of support for carers, I live in Southport, a beautiful seaside town where there are beautiful beaches on one side and beautiful countryside on the other, when I'm not to good I get my scooter out, used to be my car lol until the time came for me too stop driving and get a supper sonic scooter, it goes as fast as 8 mph, plus it gives me a chance to tease other drivers lol. Or use a wheelchair or be like me moved into a flat cos my wife couldn't cope with it, the peace and tranquility.
A crisis team, they are part the NHS and there to help people suffering any mental health issues, they are there when you can't contact your CPN who is a specialist nurse. I personally go to sleep fast and have very shallow heart rythems, Dementia does make us extremely tired.
I think I could sleep on the end of a needle lol best of luck
