I have just finished watching the 2022 conference on line, I must say it was amazing to hear & see the extent of the progress being made in all eye diseases. The help & donations that the Macular Society contribute to furthering clinical trials at major eye hospitals and research establishments is invaluable. The various leading specialists who participated were so informative and dedicated to saving our vision as much as possible. I’m truly great full.

yes indeed I saw the start of it until the proclamation of the New King took place. I will definitely be catching up with all that was said later on next week. It’s so good that the Mac Soc are involved in research both Cathy Yelf and I are speaking at an NIHR conference about research later this year. They have gone from the AMD society ( which I always struggled with) to the Macular Society in every true sense of the word. They do so much more now with other macular diseases that AMD is now just one of many conditions they support.

Tallyo I to watched the proclamation of our new King also after the loss of our beloved Queen. That was the beauty of the conference, you could dip in and out of the conference and swap from rooms. I learnt and understood so much more about my condition.

indeed I prefer too focus on one thing at a time and I knew I could rewatch the conference at any time. Yes it’s good to be able to swop rooms and dip in and out.
