upon checking the amsler grid I noticed some wavy lines how is this treated

Hi manney. If you have wavy line then you should book up to see your Eye Doctor as soon as possible to get your eyes checked out. The doctor can then carry out tests to diagnose the problem and the sooner you get it checked, the sooner any treatments that may be needed can be commenced. Good luck. x

Hello Manney, first step is go to your doctor who should then refer you to a hospital eye clinic for an eye test, pictures taken and a diagnosis. Do it ASAP. Good luck.

Go get your eyes test immediately. The doctor will most likely use a combination of exams, including OCT and fluorescent angiography. Keep monitoring the Amsler grid and report any change or worsening of the distortions to him/her when you go. Good luck!

I agree with the other posters. See your eye Dr. as soon as possible so he( she ) can give you the proper tests and if needed arrange for a retinal specialist to administer an eye injection. My wavy lines happened suddenly! if you have to have an eye injection don't panic. For me it was painless BUT one does feel as if you have sand in your eye for 2 days afterward.
