Husband was diagnosed with dry AMD a few years ago and takes areds Vitalux and also has cataracts. Was told there was no cure . But hang in there, my friend, there is a new treatment being tested , with great results and should be available soon. We`re very optomistic. info says it is laser but a cold laser that gives very good results.
Stay positive. That`s very important.

How long with Dry MD til it becomes WET and timeline between diagnosis and blindness?
Optometrist said that some at me “stage” can go through just needing glasses. Not developing into full blindness OR was she just being kind do you think?
I’m still in denial. I won’t let myself go blind and oh one other question is how expensive will this laser treatment be?

IM CRYING RIGHT NOW AS IM TERRIFIED TO BE BLIND AND HAVE ARTHRITIS ALL THROUGH ME IN SHORT MY HEALTH IS A MESS DUE TO WHERE I WORKED IN THE AIRFORCE.
