Thought this is worth passing on- I spoke to the charge nurse about my cyst yesterday and he explained it results from dry eye after injection- I haven't been using the softening drops as much as I should - so thought it worth passing on. Thank you to all who replied- it was very helpful as I was quite worried!!

What softening drops?

I use Hylotear , have also used hypromellose drops. Both for dry eyes. I think 'softening' in the sense of moisturizing.
Glad you mind has been put at rest . Which drops do you use as I have
Never been prescribed drops apart from the antibiotic drops to use for 3 days after injection.

Moorfields give us Caramellose drops to use 4 times a day- I will make sure I use them nw even when my eye g=feels OK
