I have dry macular degeneration. No injection

I have terrible hot itchy eyes quite painfully.

Is this just an infection or another symptom?

Hello Boxnox,

Your 'hot, itchy, painful eyes' are not related to macular degeneration.

You may have something called 'dry eyes'. This is nothing to do with dry macular degeneration.

If the symptoms persist then I suggest that you seek advice from your optometrist at your local optician.
