why when your own dr makes you unfit for work 20 plus years ago atos can decide your fit for work now
Simple; Because the atos people have no medical training and no interest in your welfare. They are there to impliment a policty set by the Daily Mail.
Come on lupus/autoimmune sufferers heard enough of how these government departments/agencies are treating people what can we do about it?????
Letslaugh - if only it was just lupus and other autoimmune disease sufferers that got the ATOS "fit for work" label!
ATOS don't care what your disease you have or how far advanced it is - they just want the government payment for reducing the number of people claiming. People have died within weeks of being declared fit for work, and the injustice of that is scary!
I have had lupus for 8 years now and have worked all of them except the first 10 months I was ill and the last 10 months since kidney failure. Some people with lupus can work (and want to work!) - but ATOS needs to be able to discriminate between someone who is fit and someone who isn't - which they are blatantly unable to do!
have had lupis since i was eighteen said it was nerves then blamed marriage breakup then i found my voice RUBBiSH in constant pain night and day with joints feet legs etc also get very tired who would employ someone like me
Atos are lies, I have catch them out lots of times when they have done medicals on people, I work in the communtie with form filling in, I also help with appeals, and the lies they have told is not right. I would suggest that you appeal against them, and always take some one with you to the medical. I have also got Lupus, and I cound not do the work I do with out care. Keep fighting.
