covid positive test

I had covid 2wks ago they gave me antiviral tablets to help fight it off I am still testing positive anyone else been in this situation ?

I didn’t have antiviral but steroids and antibiotics but took 3 weeks before I was negative and it’s now 6 weeks and still have a bit of a cough! So slow and steady progress.

Hi yes even with antiviral tablets I still tested positive for 21 days. T they told me to stop my mycophenolate and double my steroids for one week and that shifted it.

I had covid in September and tested positive for 3 wks, and certainly knew that I had it. Just getting my energy levels back up to pre covid.

Hi I tested positive for 22days. Also had Antiviral medication 40 tablets over 5 days. Ive been negative now for 7 days and still off work until middle of next week depending how I feel which is up and down but feel in getting there.Hope this helps Mick

thanks for answering ,at the moment I have a bad cough I am hoping I will be negative on my next test, hope you feel better soon

Hi yes my cough went away while taking Antiviral 7 days later started again but now very acationaly. Hope you feel better soon
