We have very similar borders all over our village here in northern Italy. Our Comun isn't too good on trees, they've cut a lot down in recent year though do usually replant eventually, but they are very good at bee meadows!
I love the wild flowers and Bea and Mira look gorgeous too. I planted some wild flower seeds and not one has come up π«. They will be a be a wonderful backdrop for the wedding xxx
Perhaps the birds are all the seed - they started to eat ours so Ian got a pretend hawk kite thing so that the pigeons would be frightened - and they were ππ we now use it on our veg patch xx
The ones I planted were all on two cards. I had to put a layer of compost then lay the cards, water well, cover with three inches of compost and water again. Not so much as a shoot in four weeks π« xxx
Iβm not doing too bad at the mo, thanks for asking.
But how are you?? Hope the steroids are helping with your flare. Take it as easy as possible πππ at least try to take frequent naps with the girls π€π€π€π€πΆπΆπΆso that youβll be back to being gorgeous on the big day.
Hi svfarmer What a lovely picture, such beauty I love wild flowers I've not had much luck with them in my garden. My daughter lives in the country and she has loads. I must be doing something wrong. Lovely picture of your beautiful dogs. I don't like this hot weather. Enjoy your weekend. Xx
So glad for the lovely photo. The girls look especially adorable in amost the flowers. Nothing says love and happiness like our fur babies and flowers. Have a great weekend and get lots of rest.
That looks absolutely stunning SV and so do the girls of course. My hubby keeps talking of getting a beehive but 20 years on heβs still talking about it!π€£ I hope yours comes to fruition and might stimulate my man to get on with it.ππ» Not too hot here - just right around 20 - 22 degrees. Not long till your big day now. So exciting. Take care SV. π€πxxx
Thanks Spotty - well Ian has got himself a book on beehives so heβs half way there ππ. Yes only 6 days to go - Iβm getting nervous already - itβs 28 here today but with a nice breeze. Have a good week xxx
A book about beehives is a great start. ππ»ππ» I married hubby on a ship he was based on abroad and a lady I met in one of the shops in dockyard said to me, βDonβt get nervous - itβs your special day so just take it as it comes and if you fancy the cake before the meal just go for it! There is no wrong or right way to do things, just enjoy!β So Iβll pass her pearl of wisdom on to you SV. Just enjoy it and laugh off anything that doesnβt go to plan. AND take loads of photos! π· Iβll be thinking of you. π₯xxx
Beautiful photo. Gorgeous wild flowers and adorable dogs π₯° We have a wild corner in our garden. It used to be where, many years ago, there was a compost heap. Now wild flowers sprout and also thistles, which the bees love. Unfortunately Iβm suffering in this weather with hay fever π₯΅ Taking antihistamines but not having much effect π Xx π πΈ πΊ πΆ πΆ
I really feel for people with hay fever, one of my friends gets it really bad and she really suffers- hope your symptoms bet better soon. Beautiful pic Gloomy, itβs just so lovely seeing all the bees going about their work. Mira is a little terror, she keeps going and ferreting around in our compost heap , as you can imagine she gets all sorts stuck in her beard ππ π€π€π₯°
So sorry to hear you are suffering badly with hay fever Gloomy. Hubby used to suffer terribly with it too but 25 years ago was tested by his GP who was into Homoeopathy and found to be allergic to grass pollen. Since then he has taken the Homoeopathic remedy of βgrass pollenβ orally once per week during hay fever season and heβs been absolutely fine. He gets the βgrass pollenβ direct from a Homoeopathic pharmacy near Glasgow by post each year as it works much better when it is fresh. If you want the details of the pharmacy PM me, but youβd have to be tested first to be sure which pollen is your poison. Take care. Xx
