I’m having a lot of joint pain today as well as breathing problems and feeling MAJORLY tired. Been to the doctors and just get told to take paracetamol and the sleeping is stress 🤷🏻♀️ any advice for me because now I’ve had another day off work and I’m getting so fed up of it all! I’ve got my appointment with the rheumatologist at the end of April so what should I do until then?

Hello again Bethany_rachel
Sorry to hear you;re having such a frustrating time while you wait for the rheumy appmt. One way of filling the time is to keep a symptoms diary, but I guess you're really hoping for something to actually relieve some of those symptoms. Unfortunately, I havent much to suggest beyond the obvious stuff to help with sleep and with stress reduction. That advice is all over the web, of course.
Afaik, there aren't any non-presctription meds that are known to reliably reduce specific SLE symptoms. But some people do advocate a variety of "alternatives", like "anti-inflammatory" foodstuffs or particular supplements. Personally, although Ive tried several, there are none that have really helped me.
Sorry I havent provided an answer, I just didnt want you to feel like no-one was here. x
