My IRITIS is back while on MTX. How?

And I have pain in my fingers, knees, and ankles...I seem to be evolving backward healthwise even on injections--do I need to get back on the steroids...?

Oh darling, that looks so painful. I should check with your doctor. I don't have Iritis so can't really help you. XXXX

Thank you for your response. Yeah, it hurts like the Dickens. And I'm really afraid to take any pain killers with MTX. I did take an Advil for some of the pain I was having, but I just don't want to take too much of it. Not sure what to do but I go to see the doctor tomorrow.

Well if it's any help, I've been on MTX for years and also take Pred, although I'm reducing now. Hope you get an answer from doc tomorrow. XXXX
