Rash on hands

I have lupus rash, ring finger is swollen looks infected last couple of days feel heat coming from it the whole hand is hurting like fibro pain don't know If related had rash for over week now haven't been to docs due to them just giving a steroid cream. Could this rash cause the pain or am I'm just paranoid HELP???

I’m still waiting for a diagnosis

But since Christmas my hands have become affected by a rash which causes either pins and needles, stiffness and a burning sensation.

My hands have always got a pink ting to them now . I’m pretty sure it is an immune response to something

Hello 12derby,

In the last 2 days, I've broken out in a rash, both itchy and hot and slightly raised on the backs of both hands and forearms. This is a repeat rash for me that I'm assuming is UV sun related. I do not have the pain or the infected sense you speak of. If yours is infected, you probably do want to make an appearance at the GP. Not worth feeling paranoid if it ends up being something that could be cleared up with antibiotics. My GP has also just given me steroid cream, which doesn't work, so I don't bother when this particular rash comes anymore, but yours sounds different and as if you could use a medical opinion.
