Hi. I've not tried it yet but my son bought me a reflexology session as part of my mother's day present due to my feet being persistently sore. Here's hoping 😊

I find it really helpful. It is like anything thought and there are good and bad practitioners so make sure you do your research and read reviews.

Yes, it was very helpful and I still use it, as I now do it on myself to help to keep my body in balance after having had lots of sessions/spent a lot of money - bought a good book and learnt for myself.

Hello Kevin

Yes, this is my favourite type of complimentary therapy. I had it first when I was pregnant with my eldest - my work colleagues bought me a gift voucher when I went off on maternity leave. At over 8 months pregnant there wasn't much I could safely have, so I opted for reflexology. I loved it. I've about 10 session in all now, over the years. I find it so relaxing. I will often doze off and I rarely talk during this - just close my eyes and completely relax. I am not sure if it helps me physically but mentally, it is very good. So probably a good stress reliever for me.

It always interesting to hear what they find when they have finished and give feed back.

I've had them pick up on digestive issues and my hip osteoarthritis etc.

More recently I've had issues with my right arm and my wrists, tennis elbow and tendinitis - so I've had to go for a massage concentrating on these areas. But it isn't anywhere near as relaxing and I would prefer to be having a reflexology session - but needs must.

I always try to keep the day quite easy after a session, as it makes me feel sleepy and you are told to drink plenty of water afterwards too.

I do find that quite a few people offer this these days but the quality and the prices vary a lot, so go for a local recommendation.

Best wishes

Wendy
