The drug information leaflet in the packet will tell you if certain other medicines will interact. Most are ok. Antacids like gaviscon should not be taken at the same time because it inhibits absorption. You can also check with the pharmacist.

Hi i take hydroxychlorquine myself co-codomol is fine but no anti-inflammatories

I take all my other meds with hydroxy. If you are unsure, the pharmacist will give you the correct advice. I hope this helps. Xx

Hi kc, i take hydroxy along with cilozine anti sickness and co-codamol...my rhumy says not to take anti inflamation drugs as, ibrofen etc as these on a long term basis can cause a heart attack..they prefer you to take co codamol for pain relief, if thats why you take anti inflamation drugs..if you need to take pain control along with your hydroxy then your rhumy will be able to add this to your meds..are you just starting on the long lupus road x
