Last year I had 2 episodes of my brain buzzing, then a gentle pop in the right side of my brain, then dizziness. It settled down, but I still get dizzy, even when I'm sitting down. Any ideas what it is?

Could this have been your ear it's hard to know exactly where noise comes from. Did you get it checked. I have had a lit if dizziness caused by ear problems in the past. Hope you get to find out so you don't worry. Good luck xx
Brains don't make noise. I am not sure what you mean by brain buzzing. However, something could be going on neurologically with your hearing. The fact that these symptoms were followed by dizziness is a concern. Dizziness can be caused by many things including rapid blood pressure changes, inner ear issues, and mini strokes to name a few. No one here can really tell you what this is. I do recommend that you call your doctor to rule out anything serious.
Hi caromac
From time to time I experience a variety of odd head symptoms, which I would describe in similar terms to you i.e. buzzing, popping, 'surges', sensations of pressure and sudden, fleeting pains, dizziness etc, etc, and which remain unexplained (although I was only fairly recently diagnosed with Lupus and Hughes Syndrome, so haven't yet discussed them with the rheumatologist). So you are not alone. That said, I must agree with gazorpf about discussing with a doctor.
