Nose Sores

Hi All. I haven’t been on for a while. I was wondering if any of you related to this... I get sores inside my nose, by the nostril. It has been happening on and off for around a year now. I presume it is Lupus related ? Anyone had similar and if so, what treatment if any have you applied please ? Thank you 😊

I am afraid these sores, mouth ulcers are part of lupus. See your doctor who will recommend the best treatment for you. Are they part of other symptoms? Do you see a lupus specialist, if so, they are the people to ask.

If the mouth is involved, your dentist will help.

Thanks for your reply. I do get ulcers and lichen in my mouth too. I just wanted to know if this was the norm for Lupus. I haven’t seen a specialist in a year due to Covid. I didn’t want to bother the GP either with all this going on. Cheers for your help !

Do you mean: Lichen planus is an inflammatory skin condition that can occur in the mouth & vagina? A significant number of skin specialists believe it might be an autoimmune disease.

Bother your GP! Don't suffer in silence! Your health is more important.

You can always get the GP to contact your specialist, my GP does!

Hi there, thank you. Yes I do mean Lichen Planus. My dentist knows all about that and says that it’s there because of the Lupus. I will try and get an appointment with GP then. Cheers again
