Hi,

My Dad was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lung in November 2011, however during the investigations for this it was also discovered that he had severe aortic valve stenosis, which turned out he needed operating on 1st before he could have his lobecetomy. That period of waiting for tests, consultants to have discussions, awaiting PET scans and results was just horrendous.

However the treatment my Dad received was brilliant, initially it just felt like it never happened quick enough. He is still fighting.
