Last week I attended the initial volunteer "Outreach Awareness" training in Liverpool, it was a brilliant two days, I met some lovely people and the course run by Joanna and Julie was excellent. It also gave all of us the opportunity to see the work done by the Foundation and to meet some of the lovely people who work there.

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to attend my first Awareness Day as a volunteer with Joanna. I really did'nt know what to expect but all I can say is that I really did enjoy it and believe that the profile of the Foundation was raised and more people are now more aware of the work of the RCLCF and the message we are trying to get into the community.

I am looking forward to the next Awareness Event and hope that more people will volunteer for this important work.
