Hi Richard

So sorry to hear about your lung cancer. Targeted therapies and clinical trials are a rapidly advancing treatment focus for lung cancer I do hope some forum members will share their experiences with you

This is a link to our booklet on Targeted Therapies for Lung Cancer - 2021 Rebuild.indd (roycastle.org) this might be helpful.

In addition, all our information booklets can be found on this link: roycastle.org/help-and-supp...

These range from diagnosis, staging of lung cancer, treatments and living with lung cancer.

And our research information can be found here: roycastle.org/research/

This is the link to our latest news about lung cancer: roycastle.org/news/

It is important to get support and we have a range of support services, from one to one support to online support groups through zoom , and a new genetic support group is starting in July. If you are interested in any of these you can register through this link: roycastle.org/help-and-supp... or email Ellen.Knapp@roycastle.org

I hope some of this is helpful but if there is anything else you would like to discuss you can email ask the nurse at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or call our free phone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600

Wishing you all the best on the trial

I’m currently taking Osimertinib for non small cell lung cancer - stage 2. Had upper lobe of right lung removed Oct 22 and started targeted therapy in January 23. Unfortunately I am struggling with some of the side effects, though understand this is different for everyone .
