UCL research study "Have you been diagnosed with Lung Cancer?"

I have taken part in this and can recommend it. The researcher called me on the phone and we went through my experiences since my first symptoms through to the present. She was really lovely and considerate and it may help others who are diagnosed with lung cancer in the future to have improved experiences during their journey. I would say "give it a go"! and take part.

For anyone else who is interested, here's the info:

Were you diagnosed with lung cancer within the last 12 months? Have your say about your experiences in the PEARL study - a research programme led by UCL and funded by Cancer Research UK.

We're interested in people's experienced of being diagnosed, and particularly people who are from Black, Asian and other minority backgrounds living in the UK. We would particularly like to talk to:

1. People who have never smoked

2. People who are current smokers

If you take part, you would have a chat with a friendly researcher on the phone, and you would be paid for your time. That's it!
