just wondering whether any progress on the exemption from masks issue - saw BLF had said they were trying to find a way to identify people from being stopped and fined on London public transport and wonder whether working together with asthma uk, BLF and Roy Castle lung cancer foundation may have greater resonance with policy makers.... ?

Hi JanetteR57

We are working on this at present, we are aware that things have escalated over the last couple of days as tighter controls are introduced on public transport. I am aware a list was circulated in the media yesterday aknowledging the list of those exempt from wearing masks. This is something that we won't manage to resolve immediatly, but throughout the lockdown process we have been feeding back the effects on our community with the above included. We will keep everyone updated with any changes. In the mean time i would suggest that if you have any letter in the house from the hospital of GP (even if its for travel insurance) that you consider carying it as proof if needed. But please do keep bringing your experiences to our attention, so we can voice this for you.
