I'm unwilling to visit A&E as no accompanying visitors ar allowed during the coronavirus panic.
Also unwilling to be admitted to hospital as no visitors are allowed.
Is NHS aware that some (like me) are v unhappy about their policy?
The NHS are aware that some people feel they either do not want to bother the Hospitals or that they may catch Covid-19 if they are admitted. The policy as you appreciate is there for safety and protection for both staff and patients.
As the lockdown is easing, the hospitals at the moment are continuing to implement safety precautions, however we would advise anyone that has symptoms to see their GP or if need be to go to A & E, as it would be worse to delay medical assessment and treatment which could have more serious health consequences if you did not seek medical attention.
These are certainly unusual times and thankfully with technology, despite not having visitors you can keep in contact through many video media links such as Face-time, Whats app, Zoom and Skype, the staff have I pads on the ward to set this up for you.

I actually have no great concern about the coronavirus risk. I have chest lymph node tumours that have taken away my voice. I do not want to be on my own in a ward, with no visitors and no voice. I will take my chances at home.
