Hi has anyone used CBD oil to help with lung cancer and side effects of treatment? If so how has it helped? I am talking about the sort you can buy in Holland and Barrett or Boots not the illegal stuff. Thanks.

I take a CBD supplemental 1000mg capsule every day or use a CBD vape (legal) if not too nauseous . I told oncology I was taking them when they went through my meds and allergy checklist. They had no concerns. I can say, that up until this week although having taken them for 3 months now, I had no idea if they were helping or not. This has been a tough week though with chemo and other probs, and as the meds were not working I believe CBD has been helpful to me in that despite not being able to take the tablet form or my usual medication due to sickness, vaping has certainly helped maintain pain control with lung nerve pain. I know this because I ran out yesterday and the pain was back - got some today, haven't taken any painkillers as during the day they give me side effects - and pain under control. I can't use the oil drops as I don't like the taste or the sensation of oil floating underneath my tongue . Yuck! Vape goes straight to the lung though so I find it very helpful. I have to say be careful of what you pick if you get one and chose carefully - the ones I use have no artificial ingredients ie. no perfumes or chemicals - simply CBD, water and natural eucalyptus (wouldnt want to risk putting more chemicals in my lungs!). Hope this helps

Well I believe the H&B stuff is pretty useless. You need 40% full spectrum but it’s costly. My daughter bought me some
