Hi my mum

Diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoid bowel cancer sha also has a nodule on lung which has shown up as a hotspot on pet scan.

Been having pain in abdomen and reflux symptoms. We're hoping nothing sinester.

sorry to hear about your mum. Try not to worry too much. Until you get to see the oncologist you can only stay positive. If it does turn out to be a cancer , nowadays they can treat it or even surgery. All with good results. Wishing you and mum all the best. xx

Waitng for these appointments and results is very difficult and can cause a lot of anxiety for your mum and the rest of the family, do you have a cancer specialist nurse ? they can be of great support and can liase with the team in charge of your mums care.

Yes she has a colorectal and neuroenfocrine nurse they wanted to do a biopsy of lung to see if mets with bowel carcinoid but she has refused and also she doesn't want any chemotherapy she says she just wait for next scan also she is asking about cannabis oil. As a lady she met at hospital was taking this anyone any comments ?
