CT scan mass

Had a ct scan which has showed a mass. Just about to go on holiday today too. Doc say he needs to refer me to the chest clinic. I've had 2 chest infections over the winter. Terrified to say the least. He says to call as soon as I get back for referral. Any thoughts

I'd call for a referral before I went on holiday and tell them when you will return from that holiday

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear you have been told there is a mass on your ct scan.

As topgun suggests to request referral before your holiday. The GP would normally do an automatic referral to the chest clinic, however I would clarify this with him/ her before you go on holiday and make sure it is done before you go on holiday. The mass could be a number of things, residue of chest infection, pneumonia etc, but must be such an anxiety and worry for you.

You also want to enjoy your holiday as much as possible , do speak to your GP for your peace of mind.
