New and just sussing things out

Hi all. I am a bloke of 50. My lovely partner is awaiting the results of further xrays after a shadow was seen on the intial xray. As she has been a heavy smoker and also has a history of lung cancer in the family I have been reading up on this awful disease. I am hoping that it wont come to this but reading the posts on here has taken some of the terror away. I would gladly swap places with her if I could. She has primary school age kids and they need her. I am hoping that my prayers will be answered when the results come enxt week but if they arent I am at least a little better informed now.

Peace to all!

Hi Rioja you will find lots of info. On here. Some shadows are scarring or nodules on your lungs but prepare yourself just in case.

Hope you get good results and let us know. We are all very supportive here.

Best wishes
