Hi All its drug submission time again. This time it is Nivolumab for Non squamous Lung Cancer. I know some people responded to my last request for help, so please if you are on Nivolumab, it doesn't matter if it is for non squamous lung cancer or not.

Any direct patient quotes can really help in managing to get a drug accepted for use.

Thanks

Nicky

I started Opdivo (nivolumab) in February and after eight infusions or three months my tumor shrunk 40%. I was diagnosed in 2009 with stage 4 NSCLC after standard chemo with avastin I was on Tarceva for six years. A multiplex sequencing revealed even though Tarceva worked for all those years I had none of the common mutations. I express 2% PD-L1 although it is not a requirement for treatment in the US. I am also a former smoker and have heard smokers respond better than never smokers.

Hi Don450sl

Thanks so much for your response. I am pleased to hear that it is making a difference. It sounds like it is allowing you to carry on with the things you enjoy, so any side effects must be manageable?
