How Do We Report Someone Following Us without Our Permission??

Godsent50 is following a number of us on the Lung Cancer Support community, and I've been asked to report him by a couple of Lung Cancer Support women who are also being followed by him without our permission. He is in the Men's Forum, and that is a most inappropriate community for females!

It seems impossible to find out how to report security concerns!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I emailed Denzie earlier today and asked that exact question.

Denzie's reply is below. I have emailed support and we will see what comes of it. Hopefully they will come up with a way to prevent certain people from following us instead of choosing to block everyone from following us!

This is the response I got to that question from Maddie, one of the HealthUnlocked admins:

We unfortunately don't have a blocking feature on the site, yet. It's something we are keen to develop and we have made the first steps towards this by now having the option to Mute a person who private messages you.

You can also choose to not allow users to follow you at all in your settings if that is something she would like to do.

I would advise they Anrean gets in touch with out support team at support@healthunlocked.com if they are particularly concerned about this users intensions. We can look into it to determine if they need to be removed from the site entirely.

Thank you, Denzie! As always, you come through with the best information possible. I have sent an email expressing the concerns of a few of us. Hopefully they will develop a way to allow us to allow most people to follow us, which is a good thing, and at the same time block those who follow us with possible unwanted intentions. We deserve a sense of safety!

I sure hope they come up with a block feature soon.

It's a shame that people can be allowed to follow us without our approval.

I do hope that will be changed on the road and maybe as a result of this.

Thanks for the info.
