Dear HealthUnlocked Free to Breathe Community,

We want to let you know that as of next week, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) will no longer be moderating this community. Over the past couple of years, we have enjoyed supporting and moderating the content generated by you. It has been our privilege to strive to be responsible stewards of this caring community and to provide our highest level of service. However, we have reached a point where we will no longer be able to continue in this role, and LCRF will be ending its partnership with HealthUnlocked.

Over the coming two weeks, HealthUnlocked will be taking over all aspects of the site’s administration and content moderation. We are grateful to the HealthUnlocked team for their commitment to keeping the community open during this transition and are delighted to announce that you will be able to continue sharing information and receiving support as you have in the past.

After the transition, you may notice some minor changes, including a name change to Lung Cancer Support and logo changes. If you have questions or require assistance, please don't hesitate to get in contact with the HealthUnlocked team at support@healthunlocked.com. They are actively looking for a new lung cancer organization to come onboard to take over this community, so do keep watching for any other communications from them regarding this.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity we had to be part of such a supportive, dedicated, and compassionate community. Thank you for sharing your journey with us and for creating such a positive and welcoming environment for anyone affected by a diagnosis of lung cancer. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with this community, and we wish you all the best on each of your journeys.

Sincerely,

Peggy and the entire LCRF Team

Peggy your commitment, knowledge, kindness and open heart have given everyone in this group strength and support. Thank you for your dedication. I’m saddened to learn of this. Is there anything we can do to find a new organization? All the best to you.

Spainy, a sincere thank you! HealthUnlocked is actively looking for another organization, I don't think it will take long - this is just such a great community.

This is a sad - and - IMHO - an errant move on behalf of LCRF.

Best of luck to HealthUnlocked and to you Peggy!

Hello my Friends, I just finished reading what you had written. Your kindness is simply overwhelming. Thank you, each and every one of you. We have clearly formed a deep relationship in this community and that will stay with me always. Please take care of one another. I know that HU will continue their great work, and soon you will have another advocacy group here to support the wonderful community you have built. Change is inevitable on this crazy planet, but if anyone can just roll with it - it is this group, you are experts at seeing the hope in tomorrow. Big, sincere, loving hugs.

This is very sad news. You will be missed :(
