Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Are there treatments for this disease for patients who also have been diagnosed with COPD, CHF and other heart and pulmonary problems?

Pulmonary fibrosis is a different disease process than lung cancer. The people who participate here are LC patients and caregivers. A search of the various communities here did not turn up a pulmonary fibrosis board.

A quick intern t search revealed that Mayo Clinic handles 1200 of these cases annually, perhaps they have a nurse Navigator who can help find some answers. I hope they can help you.

No treatment. Only some control. Are you sure you dont also have sarcoidosis? Are you coughing up any blood? Huge red flag. Feel better
