Anyone have any information or experience with WBV? I understand that low hertz with sufficient G force is best for lymph drainage and the others might improve circulation but do not help with drainage and so tightness returns ..

Hello, New to this group! Asking about Whole body vibration plates, platforms. ( WBV ) sonic for lymphatic drainage ?
Vibration Plates are popular in America and there is quite a lot of discussion about them in many US Lymphie social media support groups (this is a UK site). Some find plates useful and others don’t. The way the lymphatic system works it’s impossible to drain lymph and not have the lymphodenomous limb re-fill with lymph. Therefore daily lymph moving exercise is important as part of lymphoedema self treatment. Swimming is excellent as water also provides natural compression. Walking and yoga are also very helpful forms of exercise. Doing Lymphatic./diaphragmatic breathing exercises a few times a day is important to stimulate drainage. There are also other specific physio exercises for lymphoedema patients that promote lymph drainage from the effected limb/s. Talk to your CLT/lymph therapist if you have one about exercises for your limb/s, or look on you tube - do ensure the you tube videos are presented by professionals ie PT/OT etc specialising in lymphoedema treatment
Hi Violetta,Ive been using a vibro plate for some weeks now. Not seen much improvement, but it hasnt got worse, and its still early days. I also use a rebounder. There’s somebody else on here who’s seeing some good results using both WBV and a rebounder. He said he has kept at it though, you have to be consistent and committed.JML are selling vibroplates same as the one I have for knockdown price of £50. ( I got mine for this price, cdnt afford one when they were £200.) Here’s a link so you can see what I’m using.
